    Newb questions

    Hey guys,

Figured I'd ask a couple questions in one shot.

Opinions on using a spray wax on wax or sealants? Like maguiar quikwax on p21s for example.

Also opinions on spray wax used in place of quick detailer?

Isopropyl alc. What mixture do you use for panel wipe between polishing and applying coating, sealant or wax?

How do you condition a new pad?

Can you use a quick detailer to replace clay lube? Like chemical guys speed wipe? Also cannot replace pad conditioner spray?

Thanks in advance for opinions from first hand experience.

you're fine, detailing is simple don't overthink if one wax works with another just go for it.

well they're two different things sometimes, as a drying aid they can be used that way but i wouldn't use optimum car wax to remove bird poop

i don't use iso, i use Optimum Paint Prep or similar, like Eraser, as should you!

How do you condition a new pad?
Either by priming with product, a pad condition spray or some distilled water.

    yes, yes, yes

Thanks in advance for opinions from first hand experience.

    Re: Newb questions

I should specify my spelling error. Meant can quick detailer be used in place of a pad conditioner spray? Hoping that's what you meant to say yes to.

So what is the talk about people using iso mixtures? I have some gtechniq panel wipe from when I coated my rims. I'll just use that
