    Baby shampoo

A friend of mine swears that baby shampoo is the best car wash soap ever. I figured I'd ask the experts for opinions. Thoughts?

    Re: Baby shampoo

I know what baby shampoo is used by people installing paint protection film and also by those installing window tint as a lubricant spray for the installation. But as a car soap, I don't know. Never tried it. Would have to do some testing on it's lubricity (which is probably good) and it's ability to clean effectively (doubtful) without removing the wax or sealant (doubtful). It's not designed to clean cars, it's designed to clean hair, so I would be really surprised if it did a great job on car paint.

Reminds me of the time a friend emptied his pockets out and he had a tucks wipe. I swapped a hand sanitizer wipe for it.

AAhhhhh, ya shudda heard the screams from the men's room.

Ever get your car back after tint.So greasy and you can barely see out the windshield.I do know a detailer who uses that to clean glass.I find it almost impossible.

If your car is a garage gueen, I'm sure J&J baby shampoo washes a car fine.

Standby, I'll give it a try right now. Don't worry, the 135,000 mile, 2004 Lexus will be the test subject. I'll dilute at 256:1.
