Sealant suggestions
Hey guys I'm looking to switch up my go to sealant I've been using megs ultimate paste wax and although I like it's performance I'm not a fan of its application or removal, I'd like to switch to a liquid to have the ability to apply with a machine and something I don't have to re wet with a quick detailer to get completely off. I realized after some time I was taking too long in the waxing process so I'm just looking for something to help reduce my time spent waxing.

I have used CG Jetseal 109 and loved it for a sealant. I still have a brand new bottle of M-Seal in which I still haven't got the chance to try it out.

I've heard some good stuff about jetseal, figured I'd jump on here and see what other people are using before I went and grabbed a bottle

It is good, I usually use it on my Brothers Mustang GT and apply it on the glass and lights. Blacklight as well and has a nice smell to it, I leave it over night and flawless results!

Overnight huh?!? Damn if I left megs ultimate overnight I'd have to break the chisel and hammer out to get it off lol!

LMAO yeah but Blacklight I leave it on the paint sadly it cannot be used for the glass vs JetSeal 109 you can. I ensure to apply 2-3 coats in my preference wait 30 minutes in between each coat and hit it with Hybrid V-07 spray.

How would you rate/stack McKee's up against powerlock and fk1000p?

To be honest, they're all similar in longevity- after 4-6 months, it's hard to identify exactly what causes a product's performance to drop off. So to say one lasts longer than another is misleading at that point. Maybe one saw an extra heavy handed wash in those months. Or another saw an episode of salt on the road.
Obviously FK takes a little more time when applying. And it's the most glass-y or mirror like shine. It also self-cleans the best (with a pressure wand). PL darkens paint the most. I prefer the application of PL over the McKees due to product consistency (it's thinner). But McKee's is just a nice balance of all desired characteristics one likes to have in an LSP. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I have to get doing something wrong with fk1000p because I just don't get the results I hear everyone rave about. I don't get the super glossy look I always hear people claim. Maybe I need to let it set longer then 20 mins. How long are you letting it sit for before you remove it?
