Never used 114, but the mentioned N914 is amazing.

McKee’s 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash is the only available product available now that's like D114.. It takes what's good about D114 and elevated it.

Please check out my review on the N-914:

N-914 is good, but if feel like D114 had more cleaning power.

This may just be my perception though. D114 has a stronger smell and darker color when mixed at the same ratio so this may be tricking my mind into thinking it's stronger.

That looks like the roof of my aunts buick rendevous. I used a ton of soap and it didn't make a dent. I wouldn't have expected a rinseless wash to do much.

    N914.

take a look at the write up review I wrote to see how vicious of a rinseless it is.

    A remorseless rinseless...
    I like that!

    Re: 114 replacement

Pros may notice a difference. For those of us maintaining several cars, I find N-914 to be very close replacement for D114. I don't miss 114 at all. If you liked D114, I have a hard believing you won't also like N-914.

For the person who wrote that D114 had more cleaning power, maybe increase the concentration of N-914 a little? It does seem less soapy/foamy than D114, but it doesn't clean any less well at similar concentration. I tend to use it at 128:1 vs. 1:256 for rinseless, so that could be why I don't notice any difference.
