body side moulding
My side door moulding is painted the same color of my car 2014 Black Lexus. Last year compounded and polished it everything was looking good for a first timer but noticed swirls on the side body door moulding. I have the Rupes but will it kill the foam pads or should I do it by hand. Thanks

Re: body side moulding
As to whether it will kill the pads really depends on the shape/edeges of the molding--I'd be more worried about it killing the rotation on the machine and not getting any correction. If it's a flat molding try it with the machine first, if it's rounded I'd probably just do it by hand. Good luck.
