N-914 Use Question
Is there anywhere N-914 shouldn't be used? Specifically any interior surfaces?
I work on cars for a living and always make a point to leave them cleaner than I found them if I do any interior work. I'll also touch up all the underhood plastic if they did a major maintenance / other big underhood work.
In the past I've just used interior cleaner (interiors/engine bay), glass cleaner, or quick detailer (for paint), but have definitely noticed some cars the quick detailer leaves the paint I touched nicer than the rest of the car. Seems like the 914 would be a good fit there as it's provides a safe clean but leaves the surface no different than when you started. Wondering if it makes sense to use one product, or just stick to what I've been doing?
Also, any off label ratio suggestions?
Thanks!

Works great as a waterless wash. Cleans up engine plastics quite well.

You, sir, are a good man.
I use 1:128 for interior wipedown. Works great. Pleasant scent.
Other favorites @ 1:128:
D114
UWW+
Sad to say I did not enjoy Uber as much as others mentioned. For some reason it has a slight sour scent few hours after. No issues with others. Odd.

Bah. I feel like any 'Geek in my position would do the same. I do try to help boost the perceived value of fixing/maintaining whatever it was.
It's also kind of like finding an abused puppy on the street- you just want to show it some love so it knows what it's like. So many of the cars (ok, nearly all) of the cars I see are clearly just appliances to their owners.
Thanks for the input!
