Yea I'll probably stick to my 5 gallon bucket as well since the 3.5 ones are too small to fit the water + the 7-8 mitts I stuff in there. Lol

LOL. I was on USP and was looking for spray bottles and noticed they had 7 gals. Granted, sometimes if I'm doing the suv, between the CG Cyclone and the GG, most times I get by but there are times where I am topping off the bucket with more water.

Re: On the hunt for a new car wash soap.

I used it yesterday for the 1st time..

1st impressions are great. Suds up real good with just 1oz., smells good, loads up exceptionally in the wash mitt, rinsed clean, I left my mitts in the bucket and sealed the gamma lid just in case I want to wash the Kia today.

Would you consider Gyeon Bathe+?? It's have great water beading (because have SiO2), also great dilution ratio. About 10-15 ml per 12 Liter

Cannot recommend this stuff highly enough.

    Great foaming and smelling.

Plus ph neutral so very friendly on sealants and waxes

On the hunt for a new car wash soap.

The other day I reused my bucket of Carpro Reset which I had sealed with my mitts a couple days prior.

It suds up and worked just fine. Does anyone else do this? Are there some soaps that are incapable of reusing like this?

With some of the discussion recently around D114 preserving LSP behavior, I've become interested in a regular wash for my 2 bucket method that leaves nothing behind and lets my LSP dictate surface behavior (be it looks, slickness, water beading or what have you).

I used Meguiars Gold Class for many many years, then tried Optimum Car Wash a few years ago. I loved the smell and the slippery feel but found I had to use a lot of product (I have hard water here) and it didn't seem to clean tough stuff as well as Gold Class. More recently I tried DG901 and fell in love with it, but it doesn't fit in with my quest to "leave nothing behind."

It's a little challenging getting to the bottom of whether or not some soaps leave anything behind, but I have a list of some products sold here at AG that I *believe* may fit the bill:

    • Ultima Paint Guard
    • CarPro Reset
    • McKee's Xtreme Foam
    • Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
    • Griot's Brilliant Finish Car Wash
    • 3D Pink
    • Meguiars Hyper Wash

What's your experience? Any recommendations for me? My most important criteria are:

    - Good cleaning power
    - High lubricity
    - Will not negatively affect LSP longevity even at higher dilution ratios
    - Low cost per wash and a pleasant scent are big bonuses.

I have a sample of Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo to try for my next wash, thanks to the free sample program here at AG.
i have a gallon of this its pretty good, def better then gold class much better suds if you have a foam gun. IDK if its the best though, its like anything else after you use it a while you want to try something else
