If I can make a suggestion, especially since your vehicle is coated to spray down the sides of your vehicle with half half vinegar and water right before your regular wash and then before you rinse it off tar X and iron X or some kind of fall out remover and let it dwell before you rinse it off. Try that and see what results you get.

Hard to do when all your outside water is frozen. Unpleasant and impractical.
EDIT: Perhaps you didn't mean water. If you meant chemical that can be done in a garage, then perhaps. For many of us using a hose in winter is not an option.

You may need to use something that can break down this road grime. Depending on the coating, it should not be affected by the chemical, if it is fully cured.

Personally I'm thinking about using an aerosol rubber coating on the lower part of my car next winter in order to get my mind of the contamination. Won't be able to do anything about it and it won't mess with the paint.
Only problem is it'll look like crap.
