    GG6 handle/bolt hole plugs (Griot's 6")

I've got a GG6 and have removed the handle. I've seen a few pics on forum posts where people have black plastic plugs in the two bolt holes-- one on each side. Can anyone tell me where to get these or what they used?

You can see them here in the video in post #16:

those plugs are initially for the BOSS G15/21 and IIRC, Jeff Brown said they may be available at some time to purchase separately..

Most any hardware store with the bulk type nut / bolt drawers will have a assortment of bolt hole plugs. Got mine from Ace....

Good to know. Thanks. I'll give Ace a shot tomorrow. You don't, by chance, know the size? If not, no biggie. I'll just take the polisher along and try a few.

Mike Phillips tells you the size in his book.

    I recommend it.

its a 1/4 inch thread. i might get something for mine two, i noticed the casing is loose and it vibrates more when you dont have the handle holding it, im buying a flex next time detail anyway but i think i will keep the gg6 set up for using three inch pads, it has a lot of balls when you use it that way on speed 6. comes in very handy

Usually too, the big box home improvement stores will either have push in type plugs in plastic or metal.

Not sure about Griots, but know the Porter Cable uses a screw size larger than 1/4" I'm quite certain.

If one notes rattling-vibration, then I would probably do as Mike Phillips suggested for the PC Machines, get yourself 2 cap bolts and washers.
