While I like the Rupes Ultrafine haven't been able to see it make much of a difference on somewhat harder paints. Wad an absolute dream on black Subaru but somewhat less impressive on Ford paint.

Scholl S40 with the spider pads seems to do much better than Menz 3800; was always hard for me to tell if 3800 was actually doing much outside of filling a mental need to try to eek out a little more gloss.

Really been liking Scholl S20 Black and S40 tecently but just not sure it's as effective as some other things on a wide variety of paints.

Sure do like how it works, though...quick and clean.

Really? More gloss then 3800 or rupes ultrafine? If so I must try this out.

3800,S40 does nothing on hard paints.

Or at the very least, same gloss with less effort.

While I am a CarPro Essence fan, I did want to share with y'all something I stumbled upon that has given me some incredible "shine" results out of my finishing polish routine. Using Meguiars Show Car Glaze 7 (the new formula....the white stuff), applying with whatever you choose (I use Adam's applicator pads.....luv the hex-grip.....haven't dropped one yet), and like Mike Phillips says, remove first layer with terry cloth towels, but when it comes time to finishing the buff down, I spray CarPro Ech2o (10:1 solution) into a fresh microfiber towel and buff out an incredible shine on my 2011 Infiniti EX35, Midnight Garnet (soft) paint job.

CarPro Essence using CarPro white polishing pads got me to a new level of finished shine on my EX, but this last routine I described above as taken me to a new level as far as "shine" goes (on a daily driver, 80,000+ miles on her).

Well the pics look great. The problem I have with number 7 is it doesn't last more than a few days
