I've met a lot of people that like 3M. I may have to give it a try one day. Do you use with DA or Rotary?

Essence is tough to beat as a 2nd step.
Everytime I use it on a black car I still say "wow" Everytime.

I did a Black RS3 and a White GTi and both colours gave gloss levels I have never achieved with the arsenal of finishing polishes I used previously.

well a lot of people choose it over essence so there must be a reason. essence isnt even a polish its an aio. i heard the gloss pad is very overrated.

ya but you have to compare it to a finishing polish and an lsp for it to be fair. of corse it will have more gloss if its leaving a sealant behind

I've used Rupes Diamond on dark & light paint, super slick like a mirror finish. With a DA and Rotary.
Have also used it on glass with very good results, so good I went back over the glass I didn't use it on.
Diamond is on my top products list. Almost zero dust, polishes down clear, easy wipe off.
In regards to the Gloss Pad.. Tried it, wasn't so great.
Jumped and skipped because the sharp super soft edge wanted to fold under.
Rupes white is just as good, and doesn't have the rubber core, which makes it alittle harder to clean.
