BOSS pads look like they taper out about 30* from the BP, then straight cut(90*), and then a very small 45* inward at the face edge just to knock off the corner.

The LC Thin Pro are shaped a little different from the other pads on the market. While I do like the tapered edge and design like the 3.5" HDO pads, the thickness combined with the bevel on the pad face for the ThinPro pads really does make a difference in terms of performance and pad rotation on the GG3. That might not necessarily matter for waxing, but should be noticeable just by using or feeling the pad rotate compared to other shaped pads. It maximizes the performance of the machine. I really love the ThinPro pads and the HDO 3.5:' pads on a GG6 or PC with a 3" backing plate also.
