Collinite 915 or 476 is pretty durable stuff.

Welcome Landcruiser to AGO and congrats on your first post! You will likely get a lot of varying suggestions with this question. BudgetPlan1 has a good recommendation, and you could not go wrong with either. FK1000P is also a forum favorite for winter protection and is inexpensive.
Some will also suggest a coating as your "best" winter protection. As it is already winter in Chicago, applying a coating could be tricky unless you have a proper place to do it. I'm just north of you in Wisconsin and used Gyeon CanCoat as my winter protection for my daily driver this year. It was as easy to apply as a sealant and the protection is similar to that of a coating. Excellent self-cleaning ability and the water beading is great (if you are in to that kind of thing). My vote would be to go with Gyeon CanCoat!

Cannot emphasize enough on prep. With that said, I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss. If you go on autogeek's site, their is a link labeled 'Winter Car Care'. Check it out.

I live in MINN.
I do have BlackFire sealant, (also known as Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection) on my daily, just washed her then used a
cleaning wax Sonax Easy Shine to remove any salt & dirt left over, which took 4 towels of black dirt off that I couldn't see,
then left a coat of wax. NICE.
Wolfgang is next.

Re: Best sealant for winter in Chicago black landcruiser
I have no idea on what Chicago winters are like but have successfully used FK1000P,BFWD,WGDGPS sealants in Johannesburg South African winters which reach 0-15 degrees celcius. If you also willing to consider waxes, 476 and 915 have served me really well, again no idea on how my recommendations would serve you in a Chicago winter.

I you can polish & ceramic coat, that is your best. I used to use CarPro Reload & Hydr02 for winter prep packages when I was in Syracuse.
