Re: 3 coating comparison
No new pics or water tests. Car has about 1" of snow and 1/4" of ice over that. Maybe next weekend. Below is a pic of what I did on the hood. Added a couple of products (as previously mentioned) and it gives me another place to compare the look and beading/sheeting. I'm thinking this is also a good opportunity to see what it takes to remove a coating - will try that in the spring.
Clockwise from lower right: Cquartz UK, Sonüs Ion, Duragloss, Polish Angel, McKee's, and TBD (temporarily has DG Trackclaw - will replace with coating).

Important question: Is the ice on top of the vehicle in the shape of a bead? Lol.

One big bead, like an ice cube.

Re: 3 coating comparison
Update: tested the roof again from a better perspective. Need to clarify that McKee's, Duragloss, and Polish Angel coatings on the roof are sheeting much better than the ones on the hood. The McKee's and DG are sheeting water off in 15-20 seconds. PA is a little faster. So probably not what I would expect, but it's not laying there like on the hood. The other coatings (one sealant) are repelling water immediately.

Re: 3 coating comparison
Forgot to post a pic. Different perspective. You can see water has sheeted everywhere else and is still running off the DG Nanoglass and McKee's sections. Polish Angel was a little slower than the others and faster than these two. I have no idea what this means in terms of protection, if anything.
Expecting sun for several days next week. Will try to get a sense of how the compare visually. Maybe hard to tell with such small sections.
If you look closely you can see the tape lines. Not so easy to see here to due to pic size. (Still frustrated by pic attachments - can't get them to what I want.) I added some white lines to make the tape lines more obvious. Could follow it based on water beading for the last section toward the rear. Lines are approximate, of course.
