Time for a rinseless order...which one?

Almost out of uww. Love the stuff, but so many speak very highly of Uber. So, should I give it a go?

Choosing a Rinseless Wash depends on what vehicle you are cleaning. If you are touching up the exotic, classic, or muscle car that is only driven to a few miles a week ONRww is a good choice. If you are cleaning daily drivers thru the winter it may be better to go with regular ONR or the discontinued Meguiars D114 (my choice)

The Uber is good stuff. Try to catch it on a sale. Might want to try the wolfgang car care site (link at the bottom of the page) as they have different sales than over here.

Re: Time for a rinseless order...which one?

I can only speak as a rinseless novice, but I've done a LOT of reading on it here. It seems like people shout the praises of each one, depending on what their personal preference for what they want a rinseless to do.

Hardly practical if you're doing a lot of rinseless washes, but I chose to get small sizes of each one to try to see what I personally like best. To start, I got Wolfgang Uber and ONR Wash and Wax (since it seemed the most comparable to Uber). During another order I got the classic ONR after reading it's many other uses that people like it for. I haven't done enough with each to have a feel for my favorite yet.

Let us know what you go with, and what you think!

Since there's that ol' discontinuance of
Meguiar's D114 to contend with; and,
    until Nick@Autogeek has completed the
    ready-to-market process of a similar
    product...

that it's time to start offering
    samples for evaluation!

Wet set out to develop a rinseless
    wash that leaves NOTHING behind
(no gloss enhancers, no wax, no
    polymers - NADDA!).

You can also dilute it for use as
    a detail spray, waterless wash,
    paint stripper (think IPA).

Who wants to test it out?

    •I'm going to recommend Wolfgang's
Uber Rinseless Wash---I like that it
offers great versatility at such a very
    competitive price-point.

The Pinnacle, BlackFire and Wolfgang offerings are great - you can't go wrong with any of the modern rinseless washes sold by Auto Geek.

D114 is my go-to product, but the upcoming rinseless product that, according to Nick, doesn't "leave behind" anything may end up taking its place. I have four gallons of D114 left, but even still I'm a little hesitant to use it now other than to pre-soak panels that are dirtier than normal.

Regular ONR performs well. I keep using it in hopes I can forget about D114, but it's not quite the same.

This is a subjective opinion. I say try out what appeals to your need and and learn what matches your expectation.

Additionally, to reply to your original question, Wolfgang Uber and Ultima Wash and Wax are great products and they both perform very well. I prefer Wolfgang over Ultima because of Uber 's smell - its cherry scent is pleasing to my olfactory senses.

Uber is great when you want a good cleaner & gloss enhancer. This thing is everything everyone's been saying = SUPER GLOSSY. You want bling? Here it is.

UWW+ is a little stronger cleaner, and it leaves some protection behind. Don't feel bad if you bought a gallon right before Uber hits the market. It's a solid product, worthy of its reputation. I think everyone should try it at least once.

D114 is top dog when it comes to cleaning power. Rub your dirty micro in the solution and watch all the junk simply wash off right before your eyes. I'm never nervous using my white mf's with it. I've said it numerous times, and I will say it again: It's a paint-safe APC. Impressive stuff.

ONR is nice, but it does stain my towels. They laundered clean, but if you want to turn your whites to sky blue, this is your rinseless. lol
