Blackfire Black Ice wax on dark blue?

I've got a dark blue Tacoma to polish tomorrow and I want to put something spectacular on it. This guy's dad has a warehouse full of Ferraris and classics that I want to get into and the best way is to have him show up with an outstanding looking truck. I've got Blackfire Black Ice but I'm curious if it would work on dark blue. I know it would look amazing on black, but I haven't ever used it on other colors. It says it is for all dark colors, so I'm guessing it will be ok? Anyone had any issues with other colors?

    Hi Anthony,

Black Ice works extremely well on dark reds and dark blues (not to mention black, obviously!). You'll be blown away. Be sure to take pictures.

I will absolutely take pictures. Too bad I'm doing this truck after work, so it may be dark, but I have no doubt he'll send me some the next day in the sun. I'm really looking forward to seeing what it looks like. I gave him two options.... Dripping wet paint or wrapped in glass. He said to surprise him.

    Black Ice = Black vehicles
    ..... ? .... = Blue vehicles

Holy cow, you guys were right. This stuff is amazing!!! The truck wasn't as dark blue as I thought, but I decided to go for it anyway. I did just a spot down the middle of one of the doors about 8 inches wide to test it before doing the whole thing, and you could totally see that it was a major difference. The paint was darker and the reflections were sharper. Even my 13 year old could see it and I didn't even have to tell him I did anything! He just came out into the garage and asked why there was a darker stripe down the middle of one of the doors. This stuff is really quite incredible!

Man, I'm sold. This product is the absolute bomb!!

Sunlight pictures tomorrow. It's hard to get sunlight pictures when I live right at the bottom of the western mountains and the sun goes down at 4:30. My client will send me sun pictures tomorrow after he gets the truck back.

I did the engine and waxed under the hood too. I figured I might as well go totally nuts as long as I was at it.

Considering the truck has over 100K on the dial and the engine bay was pretty trashed when I started (should have taken befores) I'd say this came out pretty darn good. I used Griot's spray wax on the painted surfaces in the bay and threw the Black Ice on the bottom of the hood after everything was all cleaned up. I'm sure it won't last long, but it sure does look nice right now. He is going to lose his mind when he picks this up tonight.

And, just for good measure, the obligatory dark surface reflecting a brightly lit background.
