Griots Fast Correcting Cream vs Megs D300

If any of you have used either of these products would you care to compare. I have used the d300, just wondering how the Griots compared? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I haven't used d300 personally so i can't say much but i will say i use the boss line up almost on every car
whether it's the fast cut, correcting cream, finishing sealant. Gets most scratches out and if there any deep most the
time it will have to be sanded down.

Fast correcting cream is by far superior. However I do like d300 and the funny thing about your comparing both of these compounds is Jeff Brown who designed the Boss System also help design D300.

D300 has silicone and fillers in it and will micro mar.

Fast correcting cream has no silicone wax and cuts more. And uses very high end sub micron abrasive technology.

D300 is still one of my favorites for production work. I use it with a yellow rupes pad to one step the daily drivers that come in.

Fast correcting cream is what I use 99.9% of my serious paint correction jobs. Click on my name and click the threads I have started and read the review I did on Fast Cream.

That is with Fast correcting CREAM and the boss microfiber cutting pad (the most aggressive combo)

Yet finished lsp ready, I squeezed a little gloss out with perfecting cream and the perfecting pad.

Wow! Ok thank you all for your help. I have the Griots perfecting cream, and have had good results, but need something with a little more cut. I have had good luck with the d300 as well, but was in need of ordering some more and thought I'd ask about the Griots to see if it was a little better. Is black Nissan paint hard or soft, and what should be my approach. I don't have pictures yet, but will post some once I get the car, it's my daughter in law's car.

Re: Griots Fast Correcting Cream vs Megs D300

Griot's Fast Correcting Cream and Correcting Cream are both worth having.

To your question, D300 and FCC are really the only 2 compounds we use on 99% of the jobs we do. I tend to favor FCC, but on some softer/stickier paints FCC is a real challenge to wipe away, and D300 tends to be easier to remove in these situations. FCC has more cut, but both finish down quite well. Both can be worked for a very long time with minimal dusting.

FCC is fantastic on medium to hard paint. On soft paint(all BOSS creams), I don't use it, too hard to remove.

Re: Griots Fast Correcting Cream vs Megs D300

In regard to the Boss Fast Correcting Cream being difficult to remove, what I found works very well is to spray a small to medium amount of D114 on the affected area. This makes product removal dramatically quicker.

I do this for the Boss lineup (excluding the finishing sealant), Meguiar's M205, Menzerna FG400 and Wolfgang Uber Compound. So far I have not experienced any negative effects by using D114 as a removal aid.
