Help! kinda ruined my pillar trim with wipe-new
i put the stuff on wrong i guess and its pretty badly streaked. is there a compound i can use to take it of or at least smooth out the streaks. the directions say you can take it off with 3000 grit sand paper but idk if thats going to ruin the actual trim underneath. got any advice?
i was thinking maybe sand it down smooth then put it back on the right way? idk wish i didnt use it though or at least didnt use it wrong after a few beers

On the Kia? Ahh man you shouldn't have put Anything on there. You're gonna be screwed, at least for a good little while. I learned a long time ago, do not dabble with that part of plastic. All I ever use is Megs D156 on there. Anything else will screw it up good.

There's no putting it on right, trust me. Just step away from the vehicle. Lol.
Worst I ever did to 1 piece of that same trim was jack it up with Megs Ultimate Black Trim lotion. I didn't get very far before I stopped and realized I was making a huge mistake. It took a good while [weeks] until it finally completely removed. Never again. Lol Only Spray wax and D114, D115 is ok as well. But everything else will screw it up and streak horribly.
