Headlight lens issue/question
Hi all,
so i bought a new to me 2012 Lexus LS460L in july. I do not have a garage for the car so it is always outside. While washing it the other day I noticed that at the very top of one of the lenses it is starting to get the cloudy yellow look. It is a small area right now barely noticeable except upon my close inspection, but I want to stop it now before it gets worse. What should I do?? coat the lenses with something? Any advice greatly appreciated!

I've used Meg's PlastX to remove yellowing with success, then put a sealant on.

Try a light polish first after your wash then use a sealant
You can do the whole headlight with the polish lightly to remove more grime than the wash soap can handle.
If you need products to try quick, Meguiars Ultimate polish and Ultimate wax are sold at auto stores.
I wouldn't use any headlight restoration kits on that minor bit of fading.

Try using a polish first as others have suggested, but if that doesn't fix it you may need to go to compounds, and/or sanding.
Pics would help!

Car Pro Dlux works well as a head light sealant.

Depends what you have.
Like I meantioned, Meguiars Ultimate wax can be found locally. It is a sealant but called wax.
This would get some protection on the lenses. You could just keep waxing them every month or research some more and change your game plan.
I use Opti-lens, but have used Collinite 845, Wolfgang dgps3.0, Meguiars,Mothers, Opti-seal, ummm and spray waxes on the lens.
