    Winter car care tip

With the upcoming winter season approaching take the time now to clean up and dress the rubber weather stripping around the vehicle to avoid having the doors freezing shut during those cold nights.

Gummi Pflege works wonders to condition and maintain the rubber weather stripping around the vehicle.

Often overlooked part of the vehicle. Not only is it important during freezing temps, but if maintained from from day 1, makes a bigger difference to the overall 1st impression of a perfectly maintained interior. IMO It's these small details that make a big difference.

Thanks for this - been using VRP or 303 and it doesn't seem to last long. What do you use for prep? I'm thinking D101 @ 4:1.

I concur. Great stuff. I used it last year and loved it. Now I include it in my full detail package for customers.

    Very true and well said.

D101 works great but 4:1 is a bit overkill. Cut D101 to 10:1

Great advice. D101@10:1 is just right for even the nastiest weatherstripping that hasn't been cleaned in forever.. Once you're on top of it Megs D114 is adequate for routine quik cleanings. I maintain weatherstripping with Hyper Dressing@1.1 and apply it with 1 of these little foam applicators. Works great and the rubber stays soft and conditioned.

No sweat, just bust out the window. That oughta teach the door who's boss.
