CarPro Reload - Yay or Nay

Thinking about revisiting reload for a 3rd time.

1st bottle purchased in June 2013 - Hated it...
2nd bottle V2 - purchased a year later. Better but still bleh...

And for LSP/cleaning, CP is a huge product in my regimine

2 out of 3 cars in the HH are coated with finest.
I do use reset every once in awhile...
    IronX as well.

I wanted to use Reload as a means of just adding a touch of slickness to the coating and also use it on the other car as a sealant. Even with 2014 V2, every method of using it, produced difficult results.

You may want to try Gyeon Cure since you have had less than stellar results with reload.

@Chefwong. I feel the same exact way you do about Reload.. Except I've had no problems with the application of it. My gripe is with its poor ability to protect the surface from bonded contaminants + the longevity of the beading seems to be hit and miss [mostly miss, as it it's usually gone after just 1-2 washes] depending on the vehicle. But I do like it's quik and easy application. Plus I feel much better about selling it as a stand alone lsp on certain occasions, where I wouldn't quite feel the same about any other spray wax. Plus it leaves the paint super smooth and when the customer touches their paint that counts for alot!

It's a love hate... But I'd probably buy it again.

The original reload... say back in 2012ish?... was great. Since then it has had its fair share of problems... the latest batch has been ok, but we've basically stopped using it due to all of the headaches we had between 2014-2015 with it. I have become quite fond of 22ple VS1 or GTechniq C2 V3 for spray on, wipe off silica sealants.

I did some side-by-side testing with 4 spray sealants - Reload, 22ple VS1, GTechniq C2 V3, and HydrO2 Lite - 22ple was the only one still beading like new after 1 month. The rest had fallen off considerably which was quite surprising to me. I need to redo the test to validate the results.

Gyeon cure or Kamakaze overcoat, you'll have no problems with either

I hated it. After now reading Zack's comments about the issues they've had (he has tons of experience too) it makes sense that I didn't like it. I still have 1/3 bottle left and have debated about diluting it and trying it again as more of a quick detail spray, etc. Hate to just toss it.

IN the end for me on two black cars it resulted in terrible water spots when applied as directed full-strength.

And obviously....the issues magnify itself on dark cars as well.

I guess I'm not the only one then.
I've generally used it on 1:1 ratio

So the "up to 6 months protection" is a bunch of crap?

I use it neat on a black Altima, but I buff it on with a 4" Hydro pad and a Griot 6 on speed 4 and buff it off with a suede towel.

Too fussy for me to want to use it and I won't recommend my clients use it if I have issues. I've been using GTechniq C2 V3 or 22ple VS1 instead for a while now.
