Thumbs up Cleaning my engine bay...

Just wanted to share with you my engine bay detailing experience last week, after a very dusty weather over here in the UAE I decided to give it a try and clean it (usually cleaned only when serviced the car at the dealer) so it was very dusty and since I got my hands on a pressure washer, snow foam lance (both from karcher and both are absolutely GREAT) I decided to clean my engine myself for once and see how it goes !...

I took precautions cleaning the engine, but I found most of the parts protected and in separate plastic compartments so I didn't bother covering separate parts as advised by many, also I couldn't find an engine degreaser or multipurpose cleaners for that matter in such a short notice, so i simply snow foamed the entire engine bay (briefly), scrubbed with a speedmaster wheel brush (does miracles for all sorts of tight places and its large enough to cover most of the engine parts/areas) and that helped to remove all the filth and dust, then I applied water pressure from high distance (approx 1m away+ between the pressure washer nozzle and engine bay) *you don't want to get too close or high pressure to your engine bay* so mostly it was low pressure water hitting the entire bay and vapor, after that I simply wiped off with a dry THICK microfiber, well, the result speaks for itself...
