Enviroshield application
I got the enviroshield coating to use on both my car and my moms car. It came with an applicator and I ordered the Lake Country coating applicators. I've since read on here that neither of those are very good and someone said it absorbs a lot of the product. Is this true and something to worry about? Never used a coating before so I don't want to ruin it.

I don't know but I'm sure I could mess something up.

I've never had any issue with DG applicators. Just be sure to use the foam side. I use them a lot.

Yeah, I have done about 4 cars with the applicator that came with the system and they have all been really easy to apply. LOVE the DG coating.

Re: Enviroshield application
OK I will give it a try soon. One more question I had is the package says it can be used on everything like the paint and glass and wheels. Can I use it on black trim? My mom's car is a new Kia soul with lots of black plastic. Most of it is smooth gloss black. My car has a couple of trim pieces by the windows that is slightly textured and not shinny. Would using the coating on either type of trim be an issue?

Enviroshield still going after March 2014 application on wife's car. Best 45$ you can spend imo.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

Any issue with using it on textured trim?

Re: Enviroshield application
I have another question to add. What kind of towel should I use to wipe off excess coating and will it ruin the towel? I have a couple of the chinchilla ones from Auto geek as well as a few different other ones. Am I aiming for a super soft towel like the chinchilla?
