smell in carpet
I just had someone call me up and said they spilled a protien shake on there carpet.
I asked if it was stained she they cleaned it but i would assume there could still be something there.
But she said the car smells. Can someone tell me the best approach to cleaning and getting the smell out.
Thanks

Re: smell in carpet
Carpet cleaner or APC, agitate, then soak up with towel. Steam cleaner or extractor would be the best tool for the job!

You will never get the smell out without using an enzyme that will kill the bacteria.
APC and carpet cleaners are good for removing stains and dirt, but not bacteria. One of the toughest odor to get out is spilled milk.

AG doesn't sell it, so I can't say. Google enzyme, must be a dozen companies that make it.

Re: smell in carpet
The steam cleaner will kill any bacteria and remove the odor. That is what they are designed to do.
