detailing big vehicle
Two weeks ago I spend a week with my family on St. George Island. My please was detailing their cars. I discovered a 'short cut' for big pickup trucks and suvs. I completely finish the roofs (i.e., wash, clay, polish and wax) before doing anything else. My rationale I am doin g a lot of standing on latters. I rather do same before I am tired. Therefore, I do the roofs first. I find it is safer and quicker. (I spend a lot less time carrying the latter around.)

Re: detailing big vehicle
Everyone has there own method.for me I always start on the left side of the hood of anything car truck etc. Then I continue, once I get to the drivers door I start the front side left of the roof then finishing the whole left side of car, then finish left rear of roof.I keep it systematic rather than jumping all over different areas.Ive never used a latter when working on pickup trucks.for me it's more lugging around and positioning it frequently.I use the door sills to stand on and the rear tire to stand on.
