F350 scratched glass
2008 f350 that I'm assuming the previous owners tooling offroading and got some dirt/debris stuck in the bottom seal of the front windows.
Now the glass is etched/scratched and I'm looking for the best way if possible to buff it out before I apply window tint.
Any suggestions on what products to use before I apply tint because the installer said it would show more with tint.

Re: F350 scratched glass
Look into Ceri-glass by car-pro and their rayon pads. Both available from AG.
--Polish comes in 150ml or 500ml
--Pads come in 3" or 5"
CarPro Ceriglass
CarPro Rayon Glass Polishing Pad, glass leveling discs

If the stains are not that deep you may want to look into McKee's Glass Polish.

Re: F350 scratched glass
Is it on the inside or outside of the glass?

Outside. It's water etched a little too.

Ok well tint goes on the inside. So you are ok if the damage is on the outside.

Re: F350 scratched glass
CarPro Ceriglass w/ their rayon glass discs will work but it will take a while. If you can catch your fingernail on any of the scratches it's not even worth the trouble unless you literally have an entire day to spend polishing it. A friend of mine has a F350 that had the same problem and he ended up just finding someone to replace all of the windows for a couple hundred bucks.

Re: F350 scratched glass
Thanks nicholas, I'll look into the glass. Definitely not something that will stop a nail from sweeping across.
