    most economical iron remover?

i am going to try the Nanoskin iron remover spray as it's quite a deal but what else is out there that is a great deal for gallon sizes and effective on paint (vs. solely wheels)? there is a massive price difference between a lot of the products on the market and i am not entirely sure how that translates to quality with this particular type of product.

btw, i bought in a long while back on a close out of the original Sonax Full Effect - it's be nice to be able to use that on paint, even if i had to dilute it or something. at its core it can't be that different than the fallout remover. i don't know, i'll contact Sonax to start. I use Power Clean for wheels on a regular basis so i have no real use for this other than on rare occasion.

Yep: Sneak Peek: New PBMG Products COMING SOON!

Beyond that it seems the Griot's Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner is the cheapest per gallon, if you want to use that on your paint.

    A big magnet???

Seriously, between the known products that work - the price difference is only a dollar or two - unless you are buying in bulk.

(waiting for obligatory response of "Dub Wheel Cleaner)

i guess a gallon is considered bulk. i just bought a gallon made by a well known paint decon company for ~$45. Ferrex is $90 something. Iron-X is probably in that range too for a gallon.

    that's a significant difference.

oh well, thanks anyway. i think i'm good now. i found what i need.

The GG HD wheel cleaner that I mentioned is I think $52/gallon here at AG, again, if you are comfortable using that on paint. But I guess that's moot now.

Very interested in the Nanoskin iron remover. A gallon is about the same price as a liter of Iron X.

Yeah! Iron X is expensive and it's a big cost factor. This should be interesting with this new product line.
