plastic trim damage
This is from my brother's mustang. What would you suggest to make the scrape less noticeable?

It's done nothing will conceal that.

With marks that deep you don't have many options because it's so deep. So cutting it down is going to leave a noticeable spot either way. You could try sanding it down smooth and painting the plastic with a textured paint if you want to go crazy, but it will probably look best to just leave it or buy a new piece.
