Fastest way to dry foam pads?
Hey guys, I've got a truck lined up in about 5hrs. And I' procrastinated on cleaning my pads [the ones I like the most] until last minute [last night]
I wringed them out against the grit guard and let them strain overnight. But as expected they're currently still way too wet. The sun just came out so that should help I guess.
I'm going to put them on the buffer to get as much water out of them right now. Do you think they have a chance to be fully dry in about 5hrs time? Or am I screwed? I shouldn't really put them in the dryer right?

Rotary buffer then put them inside a vehicle parked in the sun

Spinning on a rotary gets most the water out. I place mine on a wire rack to dry too. If you put a fan blowing air over them it would help speed things up. You could always toss them in the dryer too...I never do but it should be fine. I know Megs places theirs in the dryer with no issues.

Re: Fastest way to dry foam pads?
Hmm.. I don't have a rotary, but the G21 did what it could.
Then I pressed them down on the waffle weave. This helped pretty good I think.
Now they're baking in the sun. I'm going to have to keep an eye on them and make sure the wind doesn't blow them away onto the ground. They feel like they have a decent chance to make the time.. But we all know that last bit of remaining moisture is a dealbreaker, so if I have to finish them off in the dryer I guess I'll do it on low.
I also don't have a large enough fan. Just a small dusty 1. Thanks for the replies.👍🏽

It's gonna be a hot one today, I feel like you can just let them sit outside for a bit and they should be dry. I'm over by LAX and the sun is already blasting
