For exhaust tips (because of carbon build up), I use P21s polishing soap. It works great every time and I can rinse the applicator out.

I am using Flitz currently for quick metal polishing. It also works on plastics, plexiglass and more and leaves some protection too. For heavier polishing, I have always found P21S Polishing Soap a great choice, but feel it needs to be followed up with a polish to amp up the reflection afterwards.

Not to thread jack, but I have optimum and while it looks pretty good I can't get my tips back to that mirror shine. They clean so it's not a dirty issue. Any recommendations? They came out great the first time I used it but can't get them shiny now.

Has anyone ever used white diamond? It's pretty thin, I've only used it on aluminum and it worked well.

Has anyone ever used white diamond? It's pretty thin, I've only used it on aluminum and it worked well.

White Diamond is very good on stainless steel, with right amount of pressure and rubbing, polishes to a high gloss. Messy to use, but very effective.

Just did up my Lexus tips yesterday after a wash. Used Mother's then sealed them. Turned out great. Minimal effort.
