How do you get out bird droppings from the clearcoat without sanding

Have you tried any grade of Nanoskin towel, pad or sponge? Use your favorite detailer.

If it's etched into the paint, you will need to use a light compound and either buff it out with a machine or by hand.
I know of several people who have rubbed through their clear coat by getting too aggressive. If you use Ultimate Compound, wrap a mf towel around your two fingers and rub like hell..believe me, you will strike through. Go lightly and wipe and inspect often.
Sanding would be the last resort.
