My son asked me today to detail his 2007 Grand Cherokee.
As I was starting to clay the roof I kept hitting these bumps that at first I thought was dried seagull poop. Then after I dried it I saw what looked like 3/4 to 1" long cuts in the paint. There was about 7 of these all within about a 12 inch circle. When I picked at one up came a piece of paint that was all the way to the bare metal with rust.
I am obviously going to have to have it sanded down to the bare metal and repainted but want to make sure this never happens again. Any ideas how this happened? And any tips on what to do for the time being as I really cant afford right now a paint job.
Thanks in advance!
