Polishing Question
I recently compounded my truck with 3M. The product description indicated the product was able to remove 1500 grit scratches. The product did remove the majority of surface scratches, however, a number of scratches remain (not created via compounding). I was wondering if I should continue compounding the same area until the scratches are removed, or if I should use a more agressive pad (I was using the orange Lake Country CCS 6.5" pad). I have a yellow foam cutting pad and a lambswool pad I could use; however, with limited experience using a PC and no experience with these agressive pads, I wanted to get some input from you guys.

i would try at least 2 more passes with the orange pad...if that doesnt work then bump it up to the yellow pad
