    Question about burning edges

I am going to be applying glaze\sealent tomorrow using a DA and no cut pads

if I use a low power say 1 or 2 do I run the risk of burning edges say on my hood or side panels.. Just the contours etc...

    thanks!

Lol, if your using a DA even with a cutting pad, you are going to be ok. Your only glazing no abrasive

    What are you working on?

While I agree with all the answers posted so far, if the paint on an edge was already whisper thin and you could burn through if you were working by HAND then you could burn through with any tool.

If you're working on a new or newer car that has NIT been buffed out by a hack detailer the there's little to no risk.

Some times it helps to include in a post - what you're working on.

Also, the pad will physically MOVE over the surface better and easier at speed 4 versus speeds like 1 and 2. At least on the PC.
