I just got it decent unit albeit not cheap, they are having a Mother's Day special free shipping which is in the neighborhood of twenty five dollars plus a free quick disconnect which is good quality. I been wanting one for years and I just got tired of coiling the hose up on the floor after every use. It's a sturdy hose reel and will be the last I would need to buy so I could justify the price. I figure I would share my thoughts if anyone was interested in one of their reels. Go to their web site and check them out you do have to add the disconnect to the cart which for free is a bargain in my book.
I was looking at their non-wheeled reel and it's really nice. The Lowes/Home Depot carts last about a season or two and they're leaking or breaking from UV damage. Not a bad deal they're running right now. Enjoy the reel!
I heard they are the best. I ordered a bunch of quick connect and nozzles sets from them a few days ago. Haven't gotten them yet. I'd love to heard the quality of the reel though.
Only kind of a shame, because otherwise they'd likely cost three times as much, just like anything else. Could you afford an iPhone made in the USA? Not me, and not to mention that I'd likely end up with a Monday or a Friday iPhone, reeking of PBR.
It's sad a family owned business moves their manufacturing to China it's all about the almighty dollar. It's one of the reasons we as a country are going down the toilet. I will say the build is good and it will last me the rest of my life, I do keep it in the garage. The quick disconnects are nice pieces better than anything from the big box stores. I will say I was under the impression that is was made here, they warehouse them in Tennessee. I am waiting for my flexzilla hose to finish off a nice package.
