I've enjoyed my Cleanforce 1800 electric washer for about 15 months now. I've probably used it 40-50 times.

It makes a good bit of noise while in use, but I don't have any other washers to compare it to. It works either upright or canister-vac style, has detergent tank, hose reel, long power cord with GFCI protection, and the pump has a two-year warranty.

My wife paid US$159.99 minus 15-20 percent at Home Depot.

It works with the MTM Hydro (same as Autogeek's) foam cannon very well.

If I were buying again, I'd opt for the same thing.

If I were buying again and had a lot more money to spend, I'd buy a Camspray, Pressure Pro, or Kranzle electric.

But come to think of it, the Honda-powered Ryobi at Home Depot that idles down when the trigger isn't pulled seems like a good option, too, though its regular price is US$399.9x.
 
I have a karcher electric power washer and love it. I used mine threw out the winter weekly to blast my vehicles salt off and it works beautiful with my foam cannon. It's light, reliable, not noisy and comes with a great wand that your able to control the flow and pressure with the twist of you wrist.for the people to say that is junk because its all plastic that would be a mislead statement. It's well engineered machine. I do not own the x series mine is the k series

Hey venu

So which one did you ultimately go for? Just came across this thread. My recommendation would have been to go for the k3.550 as its a water cooled induction motor which tends to last longer than the brush motors if used frequently. It also tends to work longer if you are doing multiple cars as the smaller one shouldnt be used more than 10 15minutes at a stretch. Plus it can suck water from a bucket or a water source.

Did you purchase this from Metro or snapdeal finally?

Also how good is the foam lance working for you? Whats the soap you are using currently?

Its $269 for the X Series K5.540

Also I wanted to get the Foam Gun Attachment that uses a 1/4inch quick release adapter so what conversion bit would I need? I have read lots of threads on here and as far as I can tell I would need this only

Would that be all I need ?

Any other suggestions for a better pressure washer (Price really isn't an issue as long as its not more than $400).
 
I have a Kranzel, and it's in a whole other league from the sort of pressure washers you see at the big box stores, better attachments, better user experience etc. But it should be because you can buy like 5 karcher sprayers for the same price.

The Kranzel is very heavy and well built, and their turbo nozzle works really well. But at the end of the day, a stream of pressurized water is a stream of pressurized water. The Kranzel should outlast a cheapie, but I may blow my back out hauling it around.
