Foam Gun Attachment

Hi All, and Happy 4th of July. I detailed my New Car yesterday and used my New Foam Gun with the New Formula Soap. I just loved it. My question is, do they make a Quick Release Adjustable Nozzle for it? I love how I can quick release the soap container and use just the handle but it would be nice to be able to attach an adjustable nozzle to keep on the handle and hose after using the foam gun. Oh, my car came out pretty good for a beginner. Photos as soon as these sever thunderstorms move out. JoeD

I don't think they make it, but I too have wanted to adjust the spray after removing the gun. If you get a shut off valve, you could manually change the nozzle quickly, but definitely not as quick as you probably would like.

I use the Dramm Shutoff valve just before the quick install of the gun. ( I dont even use the orange gun any longer). With one quick release I have running water to sheet.

I also have quick connects on 1/2 dozen nozzles, even my Pressure Washer for the house, so it simply snaps quickly into this valve.

top part goes at end of the shutoff value, and the male ends screw into each nozzle !!

here is a few pictures i took a couple of months ago showing my washing setup-

bunch of mitts, assorted tire brushes, soap, foam gun, nozzle, 2 buckets, and some quick connectors

closeup of the nozzle setup. hose-shutoff valve-female quick connect- male quick connect on nozzle

mitts soaking the soap bucket and my rinse bucket

rinsing the tires/wheels

foaming up the tires/wheels

foamed up tires/wheels, use the brushes to clean

rinse the panel

presoak panel with foam and then rinse

foam up the mitt before touching the paint with it

glide the mitt across the paint while foaming at the point where the mitt and the paint meet. rinse often. change mitts often.

2.5-3 hours from gathering the supplies to the final wipedown w/ a QD.

dont forget i do more than just wash and dry

clean wheels/tires- 20 minutes
clean paint- ~1.5-2 hours
dry w/ blower- 10 minutes
QD paint (don't forget door jams)- 10 minutes
do glass w/ krystal vision- 10 minutes (dont forget i have an all glass roof

)
dress tires- 5 minutes
wipe out wheel wells + dress w/ armor all- 20 minutes

then every other week or so i'll vacuum, add another coat of wax, wipedown/dress interior, wipe out the engine bay, etc etc etc
