Re: what am i doing wrong
You need to do some hard research my friend. You don't use 3/4 a bottle of polish on 2 panels. The fellas here are trying to steer you in the right direction but you seem to be repeating yourself often. Polishing is a very time consuming process so break it down to a couple panels a day and perfect your craft. If pads are confusing you call autogeek customer service tell them what size backing plate you have which you said was a 5. They will be happy to make sure you get the right pad and polish combination. Pull up so,e you tube videos junkman has a nice novice video for machine polishing.

Re: what am i doing wrong
I was watching junkmans videos and he used a compound with orange pad and it left the paint dull
he said to follow up with a polish
will this hd adapt leave my paint dull after the white pad?

To make life simpler for you, go to your local auto parts store and pick up some Meguiar's ultimate compound and ultimate polish. They are made to be user friendly and a good place to start. You can use whatever sealant or wax you choose.
I would also recommend these pads and backing plate.
Meguiars 5 Inch DA Foam Discs 6 Pack
Meguiars Soft Buff DBP5 DA Polisher 5 inch Backing Plate
The next bit of advice is to practice, practice, practice. Understanding the technique is important.
Those defects are from years of neglect and not the product and pad combination you are using.
It's going to take a lot of work to remove them.
I would not hesitate to start with ultimate compound on a cutting pad seeing as those defects are severe.
Good luck.

Maybe try to use a finishing polish to avoid that or go lightly on the pressure on your machine
