Possible Clear Coat Failure Or Just Oxidation?

I have a 2005 Nissan Titan which has something going on just above the windshield of the drivers side. I am unsure what it actually is I isnt flaking (yet) on doesn't have a white border like I have seen with clear coat failure. I just looks dingy and doesn't reflect. these are not the best pics but at least its a start...

    Anyway to correct this?

It's hard to tell by the picture. Have you tried to polish the area?

Clear coat looks like it's gone it that one spot. Really cloudy. Would need better pictures if you could.

    CC failure.

I had that happen to me before.

CCF. Titans are notorious for this. A vinyl roof wrap is probably the easiest solution.

It appears to be a low quality repaint to me.

I have owned the truck since new and have never had it painted.

    Here is another shot

Is a repaint the only option?

If polishing is an option what type is recommended and what technique should be used? I own a GG six inch polisher..

    Repaint is your only option.

Polishing will just remove more paint and from my experience, it didn't improve any. If polishing improves that by any chance, it will go back to that state later.

Has anyone had experience using these products?

Maybe I could use an aerosol base coat which they claim is factory matched and followup with the clear coat spray...
