Which Product to Remove Swirls
Hi this is my first post in the forum. I have a 2014 Black Honda Accord Coupe V6. It has the typical black paint issues swirls, spider webbing, and a few minor holograms, mainly from the poor washing at the dealer and before I had gained some better knowledge on how to wash my own black car. (Now use two bucket and start top to bottom)
I just picked up the Torq 10fx random Oribital Polisher from chemical guys. It came with 4 oz. V36 & V38. I did some tests spots with the V36 and V38 with a white pad and the better results came from the V38, but I'm not 100% satisfied, still some imperfections. I've read some good things about Meguire's 205, is this better than the Chemical Guys stuff, or any other suggestions to clean my black paint. Ive also read that Honda's paint is very soft?

Can you post pictures of the condition of your vehicles paint? This will help in determining your best route of action.
I have never used CG Polish nor the machine they have but I can do my best to help you along with the other members here.

I read a post on here a few years ago about soft Honda paint and the guy used sonax paint cleaner with great success..

Hard to say what you need what seeing pics. Maybe you don't even need to buy something else; it could be your method or technique that is wrong. Maybe you need to use a cutting pad, or slow down your polisher movement.

Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and orange foam cutting pad should get rid of your paint issues. Possible yellow cutting pad if orange is not working.
