    Quick white pearl question

Is it worth going an extra polishing step with a black pad and Menzerna SF4500?
The paint in working with is Acura Premium White Pearl. It's a soft paint. I've been using Megs 205 and a white pad, but want to try PF2500 and a white pad on my next detail. If I used SF4500 I would have to buy new black pads and this is why I'm asking.
If this was black paint, I wouldn't even be asking this question. I know that achieving a great gloss from white has diminishing returns when compared to black.

Only a Test Spot will answer that question

You need a black finishing pad in your arsenal anyway

•Some may call this extra polishing step: "Jeweling".
-You, ultimately, will have to be the Judge and Jury if it's worthy of your efforts.

•Jeweling can become quite an intense and time-consuming process...regardless the vehicles' "color scheme".
-For Customers' vehicles: Make sure to charge accordingly.

    Lastly:
•Can a Detailer ever have too many buffing pads?

Once more for the test first. See if it's worth the effort to your eye.

    And, Bob, lastly...no.

I love using SF4500...period!! A Black Pad is a must. It is a jeweling polish and it brings out the shine regardless of any color. If this is your 1st time using SF4500 I am sure you will use it anytime you can.

I've used it quite a few times, but never with white. On black, it's my favorite part of the correction process. My black pads were ruined by my dogs or uncleanable due to DG 105. I guess I'll just order black pads now instead of later.
