Leather Care/Interior Care Questions
Hello,
I have 2013 Charge with Leather seats that are heated and cooled, so there are little holes( hope this makes sense)
So what do I use to care for the seats?
Then what do I use for the dash?
1 more question...My friend just got a used Harley with saddle bags. Any ideas as to what to use on the leather bags?

Re: Leather Care/Interior Care Questions
I have perforated leather
Make sure you apply leather products to the applicator instead of directly to the seat, so the product doesn't clog the holes
I like PoorBoys Leather Stuff
The new Mothers Leather Stuff, available OTC is OK
I clean mine with a damp MF towel. They never get too dirty

Re: Leather Care/Interior Care Questions
What you sue on the dash is dependent on what type of finish you want
I like mine total matte, so I use Meguiar's Interior Quik Detail Spray
I have used Blackfire. It is nice and not too shiny
It's a personal preference thing
From what I understand, modern windshields do a very good job of blocking UV, so UV protection is not a major concern. It is heat that does the damage

A good vid to check out is AMMO NYC's "Trick to cleaning perforated leather car seats" on youtube

Re: Leather Care/Interior Care Questions
My preference is Meguiar's leather sealer system. It comes with a cleaner and a sealer to seal the leather. It does not leave the leather looking all greasy. You can pick it up here on AGO or locally at autozone.

I use the Leather Masters kit; cleaner is a foam & the protectant is a matte finish. Both work well on perf seats & the steering wheel. Megs QID is for the dash, along with Natural Shine.

I also love Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel, interior cleaner, upholstery cleaner and Ultima Interior Guard Plus 4 oz., interior protectant, rubber & vinyl protectant, rubber dressing!

Mizz, have you used the Ultima on fabrics as well as leather? (Geez, the price is so much less than LM foam cleaner)

Re: Leather Care/Interior Care Questions
I use Sonax leather foam safe on all leather very easy and fast to use. I've been using for over 3 years on all my customers cars and they like the way it looks and feels. If you don't like I'll buy the bottle from you.
