    different wax

Just wondering would it be ok to layer different wax brands on top of each other. .. like if I where to put mothers cleaner wax and then use Meguiars polish on top of it what would be the outcome.... I need to do a detail job this weekend and don't know if I would get my wax in the mail on time... and yes I know I need to keep my wax stocked up

    First:
What is the name and number on the Meguiar's polish...

I hope you mean Meguiars "wax", not "polish"...

    Re: different wax

I tend to stick with one brand for one car; makes sense that all their products would coexist better than a polish from one place, sealant from another, wax from yet another company.

Mixing and matching is the way to go. Sticking with one brand is limiting.
    Back to the full-time grind.

    Great!

    Then, IMHO:
It won't hurt a thing to put a Meguiar's Wax on top of a Mother's AIO.
