So with this new one i want to protect it and keep it from leaving those ugly black streaks down it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Soreback, find out if that new top is vinyl or fabric and if it's vinyl I can hook you up.

As far as topping with Sonax BSD. I have my suspicions about how it would work, but I'll ask the chemist for his opinion before I weigh in on that.
    Thanks.

That's why I'm wondering about a topup with BSD. Thanks for the info.

303 protectant is an excellent product. CG fabric guard is also superb and a little easier on the nose

I work for 303 so I can speak to that product. While it is a water based product and will appear to be gone after a few rains. The UV protection is still there and is not washed away by the rain. You basically need to reapply every month to renew the uv protection. Also check with the manufacturer and see what material the flexible windows are. If they are eizenglass then 303 will keep it from turning yellow, if it's Strataglass then your going to have to go buy the Imar Strataglass cleaner and protectant
Why Aerospace protectant and not high tech fabric guard? (between those two 303 products) Just curious.

If you want to try the RaggTopp let me know. I have a full bottle I bought for my Honda but now I don't need it. I don't foresee another softtop anytime in the near future until I get tired of the 86 then maybe another Honda. If you want it just PM me and I will ship it to you.

Aerospace is for vinyls, rubber, plastic, finished leather. Fabric guard is for fabrics, carpets and select unfinished leather. Typically Jeep Tops are Vinyl, at least in the Midwest

I've never used Sonax BSD so I'm ordering some. If you have had good luck topping 303 with that I would like to try. I'll have a better answer after that. Typically 303 repels anything that is not a similar base formulation.

I put that combo on 7-8 months ago and washed the car 7-8 times, rarely bring the car out and it sits under two covers, up until last week when i washed again the roof would bead up really nice. Just went through another polish/wax routine last couple of days and put the same combo on the roof. My only beef is that my roof is white and dirt ( specially greasy/oily dirt or dust) is really hard to remove.

Well, let us know what you think when you try it.
