Re: Interior Car Detailing with Tornador

Before I got my Optima steamer it was my go to interior cleaning tool, esp with GTechniq W2 mixed 10:1 in it.

The only drawback to the Tornador is you need to make sure the cleaner you use doesn't foam. I use Megs APC the first time and ended up with a bottle of foam and no cleaning action.

Replaces a cheap steamer, but the Tornador doesn't sanitize like a steamer can.

Also on cars with really dirty carpets with dirt embedded into them, sometimes blasts the dirt out making a mess of the interior even more lol

I think the black needs less psi to run.

It runs on same PSI, but requires less CFM.

I believe the AGO website has a bad # for the Tornador Black (9.55 cfm)

The Black is also supposed to last longer than the Tornador White, because it uses a ball-bearing on the feeder tube that spins.

    Also supposed to be quieter

Re: Interior Car Detailing with Tornador

I actually bought both a steamer and tornador at the same time. i liked the tornador better on the cleaning the interior than the steamer, but the steamer did a great job as well. Plus getting steam into the gooey nooks and crannies worked better than the tornador. I have the tornador black, a 30g compressor and it held up just fine and didn't run the entire time.

The difference in the tornado power between the white and the black is day and night.

The only way to appreciate the difference is to have both of them and test them side by side. The Tornador Black will blow you away.

I'm not sure why we can't get the nozzle with the brush ends on it for the Tornador Black?

Waiting for ours to arrive now. Cant wait to use it.

Even though I havent used it yet, i dont think there is a replacement for a steamer. Its the only way to deal with some interior and issues and is invaluable in truly cleaning and conditioning leather.
