    Audi Paint

My wife has 2014 Audi Q5 (Black Phantom Pearl), we added Clear Bra to the front grille, part of the hood and the mirrors. Is there any precautions I should take with the prep, polish and wax as far as the Clear Bra sections are concerned??

Don't know what others will add but here is what I've heard (never worked on car with clear bra). Lots of people will put some sort of tape on the edges of it, this is so the polish and wax residue don't build up on the edge.

    Re: Audi Paint

    Well, welcome to AGO.
As long as the film is 3M you can basically treat it like the clear coat on most cars. That said I wouldn't use harsh cleaners on the film, especially near the edges. And when polishing you don't want to continuously work on the edges since this could over heat the film and get product stuck under the edges, causing them to lift. Most waxes, sealants, and coatings are safe on clear bra films, but you should check with the manufacturer's technical info regarding maintaining/protecting the film. FYI, and polishing and or paint correction should have been done before the film was installed.

It is a 3M product so as soon as the weather warms up enough I'll follow your advice.
