How do I clean up the BFWD from my app pad.

I finished yesterday washing, claying, polishing and then applying the BFWD sealant by machine. How can I clean the BFWD from my applicator pad? Should I just seal it in a plastic bag until Spring? I don't have any type of pad cleaning chemicals or devices, only what can be found around the home. I do have access to industrial chemicals in work.

Many sealants are difficult to remove from the pad including BFWD. I've had great success with Dawn PowerDissolver that you can pick up at Walmart for $2.83 -- blue spray bottle in the dishwashing detergent isle. Until you clean it the pad should be soaking in water with some APC or dishwashing liquid like regular Dawn.

I would just put the applicator in a baggie and use it as your dedicated BFWD pad. It's easier than trying to get the product out. BFWD is a pain to remove so I just keep dedicated pads for it.

This is my first time with BFWD and it looks great. If it holds up as well as i've heard then I will keep the seperate applicator.
now I wish I hadn't tried to was it first!
