Re: Guess the year, win something off Nick's desk!
Oboy!
No time to mess with the pictures now but on Monday I'll get them into the thread. I machine scrubbed the white walls and of course the black walls and on the front wheels I scrubbed the back side of the tires too... night and day difference.
The Gangster White Walls G-L-E-E-M !!!!
Then I machine scrubbed my truck tires... in the rain, then washed my truck. Good thing about washing cars in the rain is you don't have to worry about your soap suds drying before you can get to them to rinse them off.
Washed the old yeller Ford too, just lightly because I got splatter on the paint around the tires. The sun poked it's head out for a few minutes off and off and the paint on this yeller Ford is rough and completely swirled out.
I know, hard to believe because it's such a cool street rod but it is and I'll take some pictures and videos to show the true and accurate condition.
Detailing Boot Camp Class Car
I'm going to have this old Ford back for my September Detailing Boot Camp Class, might use it to show how to safely clean and protect vinyl since the tonneau cover is pretty dirty as ins the interior. So if you're attending my next boot camp class this is one of the cars you'll get to work on. (I'm lining up more cars too)
So far for the day..
- Washed and decontaminated one Honda
- Washed and machine scrubbed the tires on an old yellow Ford
- Washed and machine scrubbed the tires on my truck
Back to work... going to go clay, clean and seal the paint on Stacy's Honda and call it a day.

Mike can you post a pic. of the master cylinder to see if it`s a disc-drum or a drum-drum set up.They do make set-ups where they hide a disc roter hidden inside of a large drum especially on the front where it`s needed.Build a low weight HOT ROD with HP you want it to stop. This may not be the case but it can and has been done. They look like rear drums(Buick or otherwise)that would be large enough for a 10 in. disk and caliper.

Is driving it around the block necessary to check the paint condition?
I imagine if you burn some rubber, it will tell you if the car has been sealed and waxed, if it washes quickly off lol
(Who knows....) kidding
