Just bought New Karcher HD 6 / 15C How do I work with it?

    I just bought a new Karcher HD 6 / 15c

Electric Pressure washer 2800 PSI 2.45 Gallons per Minute

Now I saw the head of the sprayer had 3 Settings:

One was "Chem" Shots water in a very thin WIDE line
One was like a Fist of Water + A LOT OF air
One was Like a very very Tiny Pin with Lots of air...

Now I am almost sure I should Use the "Chem" Setting, But the only thing that the pressure washer WON'T give me any pressure, Just with this setting!
The other settings works with A LOT of pressure!

I am not sure what's wrong, Maybe I didn't put it 100% Correct or Maybe I don't enough electricity in my house? I don't know...
    This is really annoying!

If anyone here knows what settings to use PLEASE Help me out here!

And if anyone could help me, How far do I need to be from a car NOT to damage it ?
Could I damage the cars paint if I come to close to the car with the pressure washer? or this is almost impossible to do ?

MANY MANY MANY Thanks to anyone who helps me... I am looking forward to use it! I really do...

Found this, Shows the spray options

    What to use?
How far should I BE From the car, that I wont damage it ?
Is it possible to damage the car with pressure washer?

Why the "#3 chem setting" is not working? No Pressure at all? could be the lack of electricity ?

Thank you guys, waiting for your answers... !

Your photo clearly states that Chem is a "low pressure detergent setting"..
    I see swirls everywhere!!!

I have a 1400 psi/2GM and I use the "high pressure spray" with or without using foam cannon

From my experiments, I do not get any closer than 12 to 15-inches with i when set to the highest psi. It may damage / dislodge less than well attached trim.

You obviously need to be using #2.
With a decent pressure-washer #1 will strip paint & #3, as it's name implies, is simply for spraying chemical at low pressure.
You probably have an onboard tank for chemical with an adjustment somewhere for the chemical ratio?

What do you mean in your first post by a lot of air?

It sure is possible to damage paint & the car in general if you're not careful but really, use common sense & you should be fine.
You should be able to rinse well from 2-3 feet away. Adjust as necessary... Do not get too close & DO NOT use that pencil jet on your car.

Is the very tip of the lance able to be removed?
You may find you can fit an infinitely adjustable unit that will give you more choices of spray pattern?

Wow, those are great specs for an electric pressure washer. Is this Karcher unit sold in the United States?

Al, I've never seen a "lower" PSI unit that spits out 2GPM. What kind of PW do you have?
