    Just to confirm what everyone else is saying. I would go with UTTG, DLUX, or Opti-coat.

    I've had good results using Meguiar's Ultimate Wax-LIQUID on 'bumpy' plastic surfaces...like mirror heads, windshield cowling, etc. The stuff doesn't leave that ugly white residue.

    Opti-coat worked nicely for me. I was doing the whole car anyway. It doesn't make the plastic look as deep glossy black as some other stuff, but it's got the durability to make up for it.

    On my 08 Cooper, I just give the black trim around the car a swipe of Opti Bond on a sponge and its lasts quite a while. I used UTTG on the plastic and though it was probably protecting it didn't give a nice clean deep look i was looking for on this car. I guess it depends on the look and feel you are looking for as well.
